The Chile national football team, La Roja, is one of South America's most celebrated sides, governed by the Federación de Fútbol de Chile and affiliated with FIFA and CONMEBOL. Chile won back-to-back Copa América titles in 2015 and 2016, the finest achievements in their history. The team's golden generation was led by Alexis Sánchez, Arturo Vidal, Gary Medel, and Claudio Bravo, guided by coach Jorge Sampaoli and later Juan Antonio Pizzi.
