Cherno more
PFC Cherno More Varna is one of Bulgaria's most established football clubs, founded in 1945 in Varna, the country's third largest city and the Black Sea coast's main urban centre. The club competes in the First Professional Football League, Bulgaria's top division, and has regularly qualified for UEFA Europa League and Conference League qualifying rounds. They play home matches at the Ticha Stadium, which holds around 12,500 spectators. Cherno More has produced several notable Bulgarian international players and has been a consistent presence in Bulgarian top-flight football for decades. The club's name translates as Black Sea, a tribute to the coastal city they represent. Their training facilities and youth academy have been key contributors to sustaining the club's competitiveness within the Bulgarian football landscape.
