Tigre
Club Atlético Tigre was founded in 1902 in San Fernando, in the northern Greater Buenos Aires area of Argentina. The club competes in the Liga Profesional Argentina and plays home matches at the Estadio José Dellagiovanna, with a capacity of around 26,000. Tigre has historically oscillated between the top flight and the Primera Nacional, Argentina's second tier, earning a reputation as a yo-yo club. Their greatest achievement came in 2012 when they won the Copa Sudamericana, defeating Lanús in the final — a remarkable milestone for the club. Nicknamed "El Matador," Tigre has produced several notable Argentine players and enjoys loyal local support from the Tigre district. Their red and blue colours reflect a club with a passionate identity rooted in its working-class community.
