Club Atlético Huracán was founded in 1908 in the Parque Patricios neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Competing in the Liga Profesional Argentina, the club plays home matches at the Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó, known affectionately as El Palacio, which holds an impressive 48,314 spectators. Nicknamed El Globo (The Balloon), Huracán won the Argentine Primera División title in 1973 under legendary coach César Luis Menotti, who went on to lead Argentina to the 1978 World Cup. The club has a rich footballing history and has produced notable players including René Houseman and Roque Alfaro. Huracán's large and passionate supporter base makes El Palacio one of the most atmospheric grounds in Buenos Aires. The club remains a beloved institution in Argentine football, representing the working-class spirit of the Parque Patricios district with enduring pride.
