Central Córdoba SdE
Club Atlético Central Córdoba (Santiago del Estero), commonly known as Central Córdoba SdE, was founded in 1919 in Santiago del Estero, one of Argentina's oldest provincial cities. The club competes in the Liga Profesional Argentina and plays home matches at Estadio Alfredo Terrera, a 16,000-capacity stadium in Santiago del Estero. The club spent decades in the lower tiers of Argentine football before earning promotion to the top flight in 2019, a landmark moment for the club and the Santiago del Estero province. Their rise through the Argentine football pyramid has been a story of perseverance and community support. Since gaining promotion, Central Córdoba SdE has established itself as a competitive Liga Profesional side, representing the interior of Argentina on the national stage with growing confidence and a strong local fan base.
