Club Atlético Boca Juniors, founded on April 3, 1905, in the working-class La Boca neighbourhood of Buenos Aires by sons of Genoese immigrants, plays at La Bombonera — the iconic 49,000-capacity Estadio Alberto J. Armando — an arena widely considered one of the most intense and atmospheric in world football.
