Andorra
The Andorra national football team is governed by the Federació Andorrana de Futbol (FAF) and competes in UEFA's European qualifying rounds. Founded in 1994, Andorra is one of Europe's smallest football nations with a population of around 80,000. The team plays home matches at Estadi Nacional in Andorra la Vella. For much of their early existence, Andorra struggled to register wins, often suffering heavy defeats against stronger European nations. However, from the 2020s onward the team began earning more competitive results, registering historic wins and draws against nations ranked far above them. Players such as Marc Vales and Ildefons Lima, one of Andorra's most capped players ever, have been key figures. Andorra's football federation continues to invest in youth academies and domestic league development.
