Chiangrai United FC is a professional football club founded in 2009 and based in Chiang Rai, northern Thailand. Competing in the Thai League 1, the club has emerged as one of Thailand's most successful sides of the modern era, winning the Thai League 1 championship in 2013 and 2017. They have also participated in the AFC Champions League, representing Thailand on the continental stage. The club plays home matches at Singha Stadium, which holds around 16,000 spectators, and benefits from the passionate support of the northern Thai football community.
