The Zimbabwe national football team, nicknamed the Warriors, competes under the Zimbabwe Football Association, which was established in 1965. The Warriors qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations on multiple occasions, including memorable campaigns in 2004 and 2021, where they drew with Senegal. Despite operating under significant economic constraints, Zimbabwe has produced talented players who compete in top leagues across Africa and Europe. Tendai Darikwa, Knowledge Musona, and Khama Billiat are among the most recognized Zimbabwean internationals of recent decades. The team plays home fixtures primarily at the National Sports Stadium in Harare, which holds over 60,000 spectators. Under various coaching regimes, Zimbabwe continues developing its youth structures and remains an active participant in AFCON and World Cup qualification campaigns.
