Briton Ferry
Briton Ferry Llansawel AFC, commonly known as Briton Ferry, is a Welsh football club based in Briton Ferry, a town near Neath in South Wales. The club was established in 2009 following a merger between Briton Ferry Athletic and Llansawel AFC, combining the traditions of two local clubs. They compete in the Welsh football pyramid and play home matches at The Renewable Centre Stadium, which holds 2,000 spectators. The club participates in the JD Cymru leagues and has worked to build a sustainable community club in the South Wales region. Despite limited resources compared to larger Welsh clubs, Briton Ferry Llansawel has maintained a committed local fanbase and continues developing players through its junior and senior programmes.
