Beşiktaş J.K.

Beşiktaş Jimnastik Kulübü, founded in 1903 in the Beşiktaş neighbourhood of Istanbul and the oldest of the city's three great clubs, plays at the stunning Vodafone Park — a 42,684-seat arena built on the exact site of the old İnönü Stadium metres from Dolmabahçe Palace on the Bosphorus shoreline, opened in 2016. The club has won 16 Süper Lig titles, 11 Turkish Cups, and in the 1991-92 season became the only Turkish club to go through the entire Süper Lig season undefeated. Their 2017-18 Champions League campaign was the finest by any Turkish club, progressing through the group stage unbeaten with 14 points. Legends include Rıza Çalımbay, Ricardo Quaresma, and Mario Gómez, while the passionate Çarşı ultras create one of European football's most fearsome atmospheres. Vodafone Park will host the 2026 UEFA Europa League final.
