Albirex Niigata S
Albirex Niigata Singapore is a professional football club competing in the Singapore Premier League, established in 2004 as the Singapore branch of Japan's Albirex Niigata FC. The club was founded as part of an initiative to elevate the standard of football in Singapore by bringing Japanese coaching expertise and football philosophy to the island nation. Playing their home matches at Jurong East Stadium, the club quickly established themselves as a dominant force in Singaporean football, winning multiple Singapore Premier League titles and becoming renowned for developing young Japanese talent alongside local Singaporean players. The club has also been active in AFC Cup competition, representing Singapore in continental football. Their white-and-orange colours pay homage to their Japanese parent club from Niigata.
