Al Shahaniya SC is a Qatari football club founded in 1996 in Doha, competing in the Qatar Stars League, the top tier of Qatari club football. The club plays home matches at Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium, which has a capacity of approximately 13,000 spectators. As one of the newer clubs in Qatar's football landscape, Al Shahaniya has worked to establish itself among the country's established football institutions. The club benefits from Qatar's significant investment in football infrastructure and development programmes, part of the broader national effort to raise the standard of football ahead of and following the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Al Shahaniya continues to develop local talent and compete in the domestic league structure.
