Sporting Braga

Sporting Clube de Braga, commonly known as Braga, was founded in 1921 in Braga, one of Portugal's oldest and most historic cities in the northwest. The club plays at the spectacular Estadio Municipal de Braga, an architecturally stunning ground carved into a granite quarry. Competing in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, Braga are often regarded as the fourth power in Portuguese football alongside Benfica, Porto, and Sporting. They have won the Portuguese Cup multiple times and have been regular competitors in European football, reaching the UEFA Europa League Final in 2011. Known for fast-paced, attacking football and excellent youth development, Braga consistently challenge for European qualification and inspire immense pride in the northern Portuguese region.
