The Palestine national football team, known as the Fida'i, is governed by the Palestinian Football Association and is a full member of FIFA (since 1998) and the AFC. Palestine made their first AFC Asian Cup appearance in 2015 in Australia, a historic milestone for Palestinian football. They qualified again for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup in Qatar. Palestinian players include Musab Battat and Tamer Seyam, who have competed professionally in various leagues. The team draws players from across the diaspora, including players based in Jordan, Chile, and Europe. Home matches have historically been played in various locations due to political circumstances, with Al-Ram Stadium in Ramallah serving as a key venue.
