De Graafschap is a professional football club founded in 1954 in Doetinchem, in the Achterhoek region of the eastern Netherlands. Known as the Superboeren (Super Farmers), the club plays home matches at Stadion De Vijverberg, which has a capacity of approximately 12,600 spectators. De Graafschap has spent periods in the Dutch Eredivisie and has been a frequent competitor in the Eerste Divisie. The club's greatest Eredivisie campaign saw them finish respectably among top Dutch sides. They have participated in the UEFA Cup during their better seasons.
