Kuala Lumpur City FC is a professional football club based in the Malaysian capital, established in 2020 following the rebrand and restructuring of the former Kuala Lumpur FA. The club competes in the Malaysia Super League, the country's top professional division, and plays home matches at Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, which accommodates 18,000 spectators. KL City has invested in ambitious recruitment, bringing in foreign players and experienced coaches to compete for Malaysia Super League honours. The club represents one of football's great metropolises and benefits from a large urban fanbase in Greater Kuala Lumpur.
