Sileks

Sileks is a professional football club based in Kratovo, a small mining town in northeastern North Macedonia, founded in 1965. Despite Kratovo's modest size, Sileks achieved remarkable success in the late 1990s and early 2000s, winning two Macedonian First Football League titles in 1995-96 and 1996-97, the club's proudest achievements. During this golden era, Sileks also competed in UEFA Cup qualifying rounds, representing Macedonian football on the European stage. The club plays home matches at Gradski Stadion Kratovo, which holds approximately 3,000 spectators. Since their title-winning years, Sileks has experienced periods in lower divisions but has worked to return to the top flight. The club is deeply embedded in Kratovo's community identity and remains a source of local pride, continuing to develop young players from the northeastern region of North Macedonia.
