Aris

Aris Thessaloniki FC, founded in 1914 and based in Thessaloniki, Greece's second city, is one of Greek football's most historic and beloved clubs. The club plays its home matches at the Stadio Harilaou Kleanthis Vikelidis, with a capacity of 23,220. Aris won three Greek championship titles (1928, 1932, 1946) during football's formative years and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in 1977-78, one of the finest European campaigns by a Greek club. Known as the Yellow-Blacks, Aris have a fierce local rivalry with PAOK Thessaloniki. After years of fluctuating between the Super League and lower divisions, Aris returned to the top flight and qualified for European competition via the UEFA Conference League, reconnecting with their proud European heritage and passionate supporter base.
