Stade Rennais

Stade Rennais FC, founded in 1901, is one of France's most storied provincial clubs, based in Rennes, the capital of the Brittany region in northwestern France. Competing in Ligue 1, the club plays its home matches at the Roazhon Park, a modern stadium that reflects the club's Breton identity. Known as the Rouge et Noir, Rennes has long been a feeder club for top talent while steadily building its own ambitions. The club won the Coupe de France in 1965 and again in 1971, and most recently claimed the trophy in 2019, also qualifying for the UEFA Champions League group stage for the first time. Rennes is celebrated for developing young talent and playing attractive, possession-based football.
