The game turned in the 51st minute when Mauricio Benitez was sent off for a reckless tackle on Amando Lapage. A man up, Westerlo pulled away: Norman Bassette scored in the 60th minute, Emmanuel Tsimba added a third in the 72nd, Lasse Flo made it four in the 88th, and Min-Hyuk Yang completed the scoring in stoppage time.
