Stuttgart vs Greuther Furth
Kamprapport
Stuttgart put on a dominant display in this Club Friendlies clash, cruising to a 5-0 win over second-division side Greuther Furth. Playing in front of around 3,800 fans in Aspach, the Bundesliga outfit took control from the first whistle and never let up, turning the contest into one-way traffic inside the opening half-hour.
The damage was mostly done before the break: Deniz Undav opened the scoring in the 15th minute and doubled his tally in the 37th, sandwiching a strike from Grischa Prömel in the 17th to put the game out of reach by halftime. Tim van der Leij added a fourth in the 77th minute, and Jamie Leweling rounded things off in the 86th. There was also a welcome subplot for the hosts, as goalkeeper Dennis Seimen made his comeback after a two-month injury layoff and looked sharp behind a well-marshalled backline.
For Stuttgart, this was exactly the kind of statement workout they wanted heading into a busy stretch, with internationals rotating in and out of the squad around the win. For Greuther Furth, it was a tough afternoon defensively, offering clear areas to address before their competitive fixtures resume.
