China vs Tajikistan

China fell to a narrow 0-1 defeat against Tajikistan in a Friendlies clash at the Chongqing Longxing Football Stadium, with the visitors dominating possession and shots throughout. The standout moment came midway through the second half when Tajikistan turned control into a decisive breakthrough. Vakhdat Khanonov settled the contest in the 53rd minute, finishing clinically to give Tajikistan the lead they would not relinquish. The game had already been feisty, with bookings flying in before the break for both sides. Things got worse for the hosts six minutes after the goal when Wei Shihao was shown a second yellow card and sent off in the 59th minute, leaving China to play out the remainder a man down. For Tajikistan, it's an encouraging away performance built on control and a sharp finish from Khanonov. For China, the result adds frustration to a friendly window that also saw discipline slip, with the red card compounding an already toothless attacking display.
