Maritimo vs Casa Pia

Maritimo made a triumphant return to the Primeira Liga, beating Casa Pia 1-0 at a lively Caldeirão dos Barreiros in Funchal. The breakthrough didn't arrive until midway through the second half, but it was worth the wait for the home crowd. Raphael Guzzo got the only goal in the 61st minute, heading in a cross from Martín Tejón that clipped the post on its way past the Casa Pia goalkeeper.
