A sold-out Cardiff City Stadium sets the stage as Wales host Bosnia & Herzegovina in this World Cup playoff semi-final. The winner advances to face either Italy or Northern Ireland for a place at the 2026 finals. Craig Bellamy's side narrowly missed automatic qualification, finishing just two points behind Belgium in Group J.
The Dragons will lean heavily on Harry Wilson, who has bagged ten Premier League goals for Fulham this season and five in qualifying. However, captain Ben Davies misses out with a broken ankle, while Chris Mepham and Kieffer Moore are also sidelined.
Bosnia won five of their eight qualifiers and boast the evergreen Edin Dzeko — 40 years old, 72 international goals, and still delivering at Schalke. Wales have never beaten Bosnia in four previous meetings, giving the visitors genuine belief.
