Zwolle vs NAC Breda

PEC Zwolle ended a six-game winless streak with a 2-1 victory over NAC Breda at the MAC³PARK Stadion on Saturday evening. Odysseus Velanas was the standout performer, grabbing a goal and an assist as the hosts raced into a commanding first-half lead. Thijs Oosting opened the scoring in the 22nd minute before Velanas doubled the advantage just three minutes later to send PEC into the break firmly in control. NAC improved after the interval and pulled one back through a Mohamed Nassoh header on 67 minutes. The visitors pushed hard for an equaliser in the closing stages, but goalkeeper Tom de Graaff produced a fine late save to seal the three points. The win lifts PEC Zwolle to 12th, while NAC Breda remain stuck in 17th — their relegation worries deepening after a second straight defeat following last week's 6-0 hammering by Go Ahead Eagles.
