Al Najma and Al Hazem played out an enthralling 2-2 draw on Matchday 32 of the Saudi Pro League, with all four goals packed into a breathless first half. Felipe Cardoso's brace was the standout contribution of a frantic afternoon at King Abdullah Sports City. Al Najma broke the deadlock through Cardoso in just the 3rd minute, only for Al Hazem to hit back quickly via Omar Al-Soma (8'). Abdulaziz Al-Duwaihi put the visitors in front just before the break (43'), but Cardoso equalised to send both sides level at the interval. The second half produced no further goals, and the 2-2 scoreline held. A point changes very little for either side. Al Najma, already relegated and sitting bottom on just 12 points, are preparing for life outside the top flight. Al Hazem, safely settled in tenth on 38 points with survival long since secured, can look forward to another Saudi Pro League season.
