On the final day of the Ligue 1 season, Brest and Angers served up a tense 1-1 draw at Stade Francis-Le Blé, with VAR adding a twist that briefly threatened to kill off the contest before the visitors hit back immediately. Brest broke the deadlock when Romain Del Castillo prodded home in the 55th minute, giving the hosts the lead they needed. Angers looked to have equalised moments later, but VAR intervened and chalked the effort off.
