Bournemouth twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw against 10-man Manchester United in a wild second half at the Vitality Stadium on Friday night. Harry Maguire's red card proved the turning point as the Cherries rescued a point late on.
Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 61 minutes, but Ryan Christie levelled just six minutes later. A Fernandes corner then deflected off James Hill for an own goal to restore United's lead in the 71st minute, before Maguire was shown a straight red for a foul in the box seven minutes later.
Eli Junior Kroupi made no mistake from the resulting penalty on 81 minutes to complete the comeback. The draw keeps Manchester United third on 55 points, while Bournemouth sit 10th on 42 — but dropping points from two winning positions will sting for Ruben Amorim's side.
