RB Leipzig vs Hamburger SV

RB Leipzig delivered a statement performance at Red Bull Arena, brushing aside Hamburger SV 5-0 in a game that was effectively over by halftime. The hosts dominated from the opening whistle, repeatedly carving through a shaky Hamburg backline, while the visitors could never find a foothold despite a livelier start to the second half. Tidiam Gomis opened the scoring in the 17th minute, finished off a slick assist from Brajan Gruda, before Antonio Nusa doubled the lead in the 28th minute after pouncing on a defensive mistake from Shafiq Nandja. Hamburg briefly rallied after the break and created some half-chances, but Leipzig pulled away for good in a ruthless nine-minute burst: Willi Orbán made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute, Christopher Nkunku added a fourth two minutes later, and Rômulo completed the rout in the 77th. No cards or penalties disrupted the one-sided affair. The result lifts RB Leipzig up to fourth place, bouncing back strongly after back-to-back defeats to Bremen and Como. For Hamburger SV, it's a nightmare start to the campaign, three matches, three losses, and not a single goal scored, leaving them rooted at the bottom of the table with serious relegation worries already forming.
