When they last met in early October, England were second on six points, Croatia third on three and Spain top on nine. That meeting finished 7-0 to England in Rijeka. Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka scored twice each, and Jude Bellingham scored once and set up three more. Kane is on 89 goals in 124 caps, one cap short of Peter Shilton's England record. Croatia have lost 4-1 to Spain and then that 7-0, and had already lost five of ten games in 2026 before Rijeka. Luka Modric and Ivan Perisic are the men to watch, with Slaven Bilic in charge. They have not beaten England since the 2018 World Cup semi-final and lost 4-2 to them at this summer's World Cup. Our prediction: 2-0
