او سی وی مقابل ایندپندینته دل والیه

A modest crowd at Caracas's Estadio Olímpico watched Universidad Central cruise to a 2-0 win over Independiente del Valle on Matchday 4 of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Group H, with a costly defensive error proving the key turning point. It was IDV's Juan Viacava who gifted the opener in the 56th minute, losing the ball on a routine exit attempt, Juan Zapata pounced and fired past goalkeeper Aldair Quintana. Juan Manuel Cuesta doubled the lead in the 67th, cutting in from the left, slipping past Daykol Romero, and finishing coolly. Charli González had threatened for IDV in the first half, but Schiavonne held firm throughout. The win moves Universidad Central to six points, injecting fresh belief into their Libertadores campaign. Independiente del Valle, still on seven points, now face urgent pressure ahead of their home clash with Libertad.
