اسپانیول مقابل ختافه

Getafe pulled off a smash-and-grab at the RCDE Stadium, scoring twice in first-half stoppage time to seal a dramatic 2-1 victory over Espanyol in La Liga's matchday 29. Domingos Duarte broke the deadlock three minutes into added time, heading home from a Luis Milla delivery. Just four minutes later, Mauro Arambarri doubled the lead, assisted by Duarte himself, leaving the home fans shell-shocked heading into the break. Espanyol pulled one back through Roberto Fernandez on 68 minutes and pressed hard with 66% possession, but couldn't find an equaliser. Tempers frayed in a niggly affair that produced nine yellow cards, seven of them shown to Getafe players. The win lifts Getafe to eighth on 38 points, leapfrogging Espanyol who slip to ninth on 37. A clinical away display for the visitors; a frustrating night for the hosts who dominated the ball but lacked a cutting edge.
