اینتر مقابل آتالانتا

Inter were left fuming at San Siro as Atalanta snatched a 1-1 draw deep into the second half. Pio Esposito had given the league leaders a deserved lead in the 26th minute, finishing coolly with his left foot after a sharp pass from Nicolò Barella. Inter looked comfortable for most of the match, but Atalanta found a dramatic late equaliser in the 82nd minute. Kamaldeen Sulemana pressed Denzel Dumfries near the box, and after Yann Sommer parried the initial effort, Nikola Krstovic pounced on the rebound to level the score. Inter protested furiously, but VAR upheld the goal. The controversy didn't end there, Inter manager Cristian Chivu was sent off for his protests on the touchline, adding further frustration to a bitter evening for the Nerazzurri. The draw keeps Inter top of Serie A but opens the door for their title rivals to close the gap. Atalanta will take the point gladly as they continue to fight for European qualification from seventh.
