فلامنگو مقابل سانتوس

Flamengo overturned an early deficit to beat Santos 3-1 at the Maracanã, a relentless first-half display erasing any doubts about who would leave with the three points. Lautaro Díaz shocked the hosts inside two minutes, cutting inside Léo Ortiz before firing into the top corner. Flamengo hit back through Pedro's header in the 19th minute, though the hosts also had a Léo Ortiz goal controversially chalked off by VAR. When Álvaro Barreal fouled Arrascaeta, Jorginho stepped up and calmly converted from the spot in the 26th minute, with a Santos staff member also expelled from the touchline amid the chaos. Gonzalo Plata then threaded a perfectly timed pass to Lucas Paquetá, who curled a superb effort into the top corner right on the stroke of half-time to wrap things up. The victory keeps Flamengo firmly in the Serie A title mix, their Maracanã once again proving a formidable fortress. For Santos, still finding their feet back in the top flight, defensive lapses and disciplinary issues are proving far too costly against quality opposition.
