کروزیرو مقابل فلومینسه

Cruzeiro and Fluminense shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Mineirão on Sunday night, the final Brasileirão game before the World Cup break. The standout moment came from Matheus Pereira, whose 75th-minute free kick clipped the defensive wall and looped into the net to rescue a point for the hosts. Fluminense had led from the 43rd minute, when John Kennedy pounced on a counter-attack, sprinted past the last defender, and finished coolly to make it 1-0. The visitors were operating without head coach Luis Zubeldía, suspended for the occasion, with assistant Maxi Cuberas filling in on the touchline. The point leaves Fluminense third with 31 points, three back of second-placed Flamengo. Cruzeiro sit 11th and will need a stronger second half of the season when Serie A resumes in late July.
