کوریتیبا مقابل بوتافوگو

Coritiba and Botafogo RJ shared the points in a scrappy 1-1 draw at Couto Pereira, a result that did little to ease either side's growing unease near the relegation zone. The game's defining moment came from a set piece that nobody meant to finish. Coritiba went ahead in the 21st minute in unfortunate fashion for the visitors: a Josué corner was flicked on by Tiago Cóser at the near post and cannoned in off Marçal for an own goal. Botafogo RJ responded quickly, levelling in the 33rd minute through Danilo, who turned home a first-time finish after a quick combination involving Cristian Medina and Arthur Cabral, the ball deflecting off Jacy on its way past the goalkeeper. VAR later chalked off a second Botafogo goal for a foul by Cabral on Jacy. Neither side could find a winner, and the draw stings more than it helps. Coritiba stretched their winless run to five matches, a sour note on the club's 117th anniversary, while still sitting comfortably clear of trouble. Botafogo RJ remain stuck in a rut under Tite, still searching for his first win since taking charge and with the gap to the drop zone narrowing uncomfortably.
