Asociación Deportiva Isidro Metapán, founded in 2000, is a professional football club from the town of Metapán in the Santa Ana department of El Salvador. Despite being a relatively young club, Isidro Metapán rose rapidly through Salvadoran football and became one of the country's most successful teams, winning multiple Primera División titles in their first decade of existence. Their home ground is Estadio Jorge Calero Suárez, which accommodates 10,000 spectators. The club has also represented El Salvador in CONCACAF Champions League competition, gaining regional exposure. Metapán's success is built on solid youth development and smart recruitment. The club's rise from a small border town to national prominence is considered one of the most remarkable stories in modern Central American football history.
