FK Sochi vs Ufa

Sochi edged past Ufa 1-0 at the Fisht Stadium in a cagey round-13 clash that never quite opened up, with the hosts' efficiency in the one moment that mattered proving the difference. For long stretches neither side carved out a clear chance, and it took a second-half spot kick to break the deadlock. The breakthrough came in the 59th minute when Zakhar Fedorov converted from the penalty spot after goalkeeper Belenov brought him down inside the box, a costly lapse that handed Sochi the lead they would not relinquish. Ufa pushed for an equalizer but couldn't find a way past the home defense. The win lifts Sochi to 26 points and second place in the table, keeping them firmly in the promotion picture, while Ufa stay on 18 points in ninth, still searching for the consistency to climb higher as the season progresses.
