Estudiantes L.P. vs Lanus

Lanús snatched all three points with a clinical 1-0 away win over Estudiantes at the Estadio Jorge Luis Hirschi, wrapping up Matchday 10 of the Torneo Apertura in style. The breakthrough arrived in the 74th minute via a textbook counterattack. Goalkeeper Losada launched the move from deep, Toto Salvio picked out the perfect cross from the right, and Dylan Aquino met it with a stunning volley that flew past the home keeper. It was the only moment of real quality in an otherwise cagey affair. From there, Lanús slammed the door shut. Estudiantes huffed and puffed but never truly threatened an equaliser, as the visitors saw out the final minutes with cool professionalism. The result lifts Lanús to 12 points in Zone A and keeps their playoff push alive, while Estudiantes stay stuck on 15 points and squandered a chance to reel in leaders Vélez Sarsfield.
