Sportivo Trinidense is a Paraguayan football club founded in 1935 and based in the Trinidad neighborhood of Asuncion, Paraguay's capital. The club competes in the Division Profesional, Paraguay's top division, and plays its home matches at the Estadio Martin Torres, a compact ground accommodating around 3,000 supporters. Trinidense has historically been one of the more modest clubs in Paraguayan football but has competed consistently in the top flight. The club has participated in CONMEBOL competitions, including the Copa Sudamericana, when qualifying through league performance. Despite limited resources compared to Asuncion's larger clubs, Sportivo Trinidense maintains a dedicated local following and plays a role in developing footballers from the city's neighborhoods, contributing to Paraguay's vibrant grassroots football scene.
