彭美拉斯 vs 瓦斯科達伽馬

Palmeiras took a 1-0 lead into the second leg of their Copa do Brasil semifinal against Vasco, winning at Nubank Parque on Sunday with a first-half goal and a late red card for the visitors. Maurício scored in the 23rd minute. Jhon Arias beat several defenders down the left, Marlon Freitas played the pass through and Maurício finished. Paulo Henrique kept Vasco in it by clearing an Arias shot off the line. After the break Cuiabano shot wide one-on-one, and Vasco's penalty appeal for handball against Barboza was waved away. Saldivia was sent off in the 77th minute, a second yellow for a foul on Vitor Roque. The tie moves to São Januário next Sunday, 8 November. Palmeiras need only a draw to reach the final. Vasco must win by two goals to go through, while a one-goal win sends it to penalties.
