Fatih Karagümrük SK is a historic Turkish football club founded in 1926 in the Fatih district of Istanbul. After decades in the lower divisions of Turkish football, the club achieved a remarkable return to the Süper Lig in 2020, ending a 66-year absence from Turkey's top flight. Playing their home matches at Atatürk Olympic Stadium, one of Europe's largest venues, the club has become known for an adventurous style of play. Under coach Andrea Pirlo during the 2022-23 season, Karagümrük attracted significant international attention. Notable players including Radja Nainggolan and Mario Balotelli have worn the club's colours in recent years, reflecting their ambition.
