Marítimo
CS Marítimo is one of Portugal's most recognisable clubs, founded in 1910 in Funchal on the island of Madeira. Playing at the Estádio do Marítimo, with a capacity of around 10,932, the club has been a consistent presence in the Primeira Liga for many decades. Marítimo have never won the top-flight title but have regularly finished in the top half and qualified for European competition, including the UEFA Europa League, where they have reached the group stage.
