CSKA Sofia protiv OFI Crete

OFI Crete finished the job in Sofia, beating CSKA Sofia 0-2 to seal a crushing 5-0 aggregate win and book their spot in the next round of Europa League qualifying. Needing a near-impossible comeback after losing the first leg 3-0 at home, CSKA never found the fast start they needed and were sunk before the hour mark. Thiago Nuss put the tie further out of reach with a 36th-minute strike, and Giannis Theodosoulakis added a second in the 78th minute to extinguish any lingering hope of a miracle. The hosts did have a glorious late chance in the box, but the effort was deflected wide. Four yellow cards were shown across the match, including two to CSKA players inside a two-minute spell either side of half-time. For OFI Crete, the win caps a dominant two-legged display and sends the Greek side into the next qualifying round with real momentum. For CSKA Sofia, the defeat extends their wait to end a five-year absence from European group-stage football, with home advantage and a nine-match unbeaten domestic run at Vasil Levski proving no match for a well-organized OFI side.
