Malawi
The Malawi national football team, known as the Flames, is governed by Football Association of Malawi and has competed under FIFA since 1967. Malawi participated in the Africa Cup of Nations 2021 in Cameroon, reaching the group stage in only their second AFCON appearance. The team drew against Senegal, eventual champions, earning admiration across Africa.
