Germany
The Germany national football team, governed by the German Football Association (DFB) founded in 1900, is one of the most successful nations in world football history. Die Mannschaft have won four FIFA World Cup titles (1954, 1974, 1990, 2014) and three UEFA European Championships (1972, 1980, 1996). Germany also hosted and won the 2024 UEFA European Championship on home soil, ending a long wait for major silverware. Legends such as Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller, Lothar Matthäus, and Miroslav Klose shaped the team's proud history. The current generation, led by Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala, and Joshua Kimmich, play an attacking, high-tempo brand of football under national coach Julian Nagelsmann. Germany's professional infrastructure and youth development system continue to produce world-class talent consistently.
