Bournemouth vs Everton

Bournemouth looked set to claim all three points at the Vitality Stadium, but a dramatic stoppage-time leveler let Everton escape with a share of the spoils. The hosts dominated for long stretches, yet couldn't find a way to see out the win, leaving them to rue missed chances late on. Alex Scott put Bournemouth ahead in the 41st minute, finishing off a slick move started by Evanilson. The lead held all the way until the 91st minute, when James Tarkowski rose to head home from a corner and rescue a point for the visitors. There were no red cards or penalties, though referees dished out yellows to Scott, Adam Smith, Marcus Tavernier, James Garner and Charly Alcaraz. For Bournemouth, it's a frustrating missed opportunity after controlling possession and creating the better chances at home. Everton, meanwhile, will take real encouragement from their late resilience, salvaging a point on the road despite being second-best for much of the contest.
