Boca Juniors won the annual table on Saturday when Enner Valencia scored in the last minute of a 1-0 win over Defensa y Justicia at La Bombonera. It was the final game of the regular phase and Boca needed the win. The first 90 minutes gave the home crowd plenty of frustration. Miguel Merentiel went round goalkeeper Matías Borgogno and scored in the first half, but the flag was already up for offside. David Martínez then hit the crossbar with a header. Leandro Paredes was booked and asked to come off in the second half, and Valencia replaced him. Valencia got his chance deep into added time. A bad mistake from Borgogno let him in, and he took it. Reports differ on the exact minute, but all of them place it right at the end. The result ended a wait of almost four years without a title for Boca Juniors, who finish second in Zona A on 33 points. Defensa y Justicia end fourth on 28.
