Benfica beat Gil Vicente 4-1 at the Estádio da Luz on Thursday night and are into the Taça da Liga Final Four. Two goals in four minutes before the break put the quarter-final out of the visitors' reach. Dodi Lukebakio scored the opener in the 36th minute, punishing a poor clearance from Gil Vicente. Georgiy Sudakov finished a loose ball near the area in the 40th to make it 2-0 at the interval. Lukebakio got his second in the 54th, a deflected effort from a corner. Andreas Lausen replied with a long-range shot that Trubin only got a hand to, but the goal changed little. Jhon Duran made it 4-1 in the 81st minute. Antonio Espigares was then sent off for bringing down Rafa Silva as the forward ran through on goal. Earlier, Lenglet had cleared a shot off the line and Schjelderup had hit the post. Benfica will meet FC Porto in the semi-final in Leiria in early January. Gil Vicente are out of the competition.
